Help Froggy on his quest to eat as many flies as possible! Use your sticky tongue to move crates and solve challenging platformer puzzles.

Froggy Quest was made in 3 days for Lost Cartridge Jam 2021. The goal was to make a game in the style of a pre-2000s video game cartridge, so Froggy Quest was made to adhere to the graphical and audio limitations of the original Game Boy. (UPDATE: Froggy Quest was selected as the winner!)

The game was made in GameMaker: Studio 2, and the music/sound effects were made in Little Sound Dj using the BGB GameBoy emulator.

Controls:

Left/Right Arrow Keys - Move

Up Arrow Key - Face Forward

Z - Jump

X - Use Tongue

R - Restart Level

Enter - Start Game

Shift - Mute/Unmute Sound

Backspace - Restart Game
